Launching of the Fluorspar Scholarship Scheme

In February 2010 the Company launched the Fluorspar Scholarship Scheme.The scheme is geared to reward the top ten achievers in the final primary school examinations.

It provides for a contribution of $ 400 per learner to assist them in their entry year into a secondary school.

This year there was a three way tie for position ten with the result that the Company sponsored 12 students.

The inaugural awards ceremony was held at the Turesia Primary School with the District Education Department in attendance and presiding over events.
