Towards the end of March 2012 the de-bottlenecking project was completed with the commissioning of an additional ball mill.

This ball mill will allow for an increase of 20% in feed tons and this project was part of a de-bottlenecking exercise to stream line the plant but also at the same time utilize vacant systems and cells within the plant.

The mill was manufactured and installed by an overseas supplier whilst all other connections, improvements and additions were done by our engineers and staff. The structures and civil works were all done under supervision of our competent Maintenance Manager and his team.

The completion of this project will not allow for an increase in output only but also increase the efficiency of the Plant and contribute to the overall performance of the Company providing options in terms of production capacity.
